Iris Fold Birthday Cards The technique originated in Holland and it is called iris folding because the center of the design resembles the iris of a camera or eye. You can feel the texture and depth of the iris fold in the cards. When you order greeting cards from us, please e-mail us for the shipping and handling charges. Thank you so much. Also, if you want to order one of our cards with a different verse inside, just let us know. You can order with any design or verse combination. I will special make any card for you. All of these cards are made on 65# cardstock and measures 5-1/2" wide by 8-1/2" long. Any of these cards come with an envelope and they can be mailed for the one stamp price unless you add a lot of things to go with this card. This would make a great and unusual card to send to that special someone.
